Capio Ortho Center Stockholm is located at Löwenströmska Hospital in Upplands Väsby, situated in a natural setting with beautiful views of Lake Fysingen. We have been here for nearly 30 years in various forms and are now a clinic specializing exclusively in hip and knee replacements. We are one of Sweden's largest clinics in this field and boast excellent quality statistics.

We perform approximately 40 surgeries per week, Monday to Friday. We operate as a week-care ward and close on Fridays. Some patients are discharged via day surgery, but several stay overnight, especially those coming from other counties. The clinic consists of a reception, an operating department, and a care ward. It is on this care ward that we are looking for a nurse. The staff on the care ward are nurses, and our recovery ward is located adjacent to the care ward. Physiotherapists also work at the clinic during the day and evening.

We are looking for a registered nurse to work two nights per week. Prior experience is preferred as night shifts are quite independent, and we do not have doctors on-site during the night. However, you will have a nursing colleague by your side, and Capio Spine Center, which performs spinal surgeries, is now located in the same premises. They have a similar care ward structure, so we can support each other if needed. You will be responsible for 3 to a maximum of 6 patients per night who need help with pain management and occasional support when walking. In the morning, the night staff prepare the first patients for surgery.

You must be a registered nurse. Experience with night shifts is meritorious but not a requirement, though you should have a few years of professional experience. Even though night work is quite independent, you should be comfortable collaborating and discussing with your colleagues if anything is unclear.
