As a case manager in geotechnics, you work on developing geotechnical investigation programs and reports, based on both new field data and previous studies. You contribute to sustainable and safe construction projects by analyzing soil conditions and providing the basis for decisions in construction and infrastructure investments. Responsibilities include, for example:
- Perform desk studies and produce field reports
- Analyze soil and foundation conditions using investigation data
- Write technical reports (RNA) and eventually provide recommendations
- Create geotechnical drawings
- Contact clients, often via phone, to gather information
- Go out into the field to understand the overall picture and learn about site conditions
- You will also be responsible for costing and tender preparation, have a more developed customer dialogue, and perform tasks requiring advanced technical knowledge and experience.
- University degree in civil engineering, geology, or equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience in similar work
- Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English
- Valid driver’s license (Category B)
- Ability to work from the office 2–3 days a week
- Master of Science degree in Engineering
- Experience with Slope & Plaxis software
