Choose Telge – here you get to combine business acumen with social benefit, and as an employee, you have freedom under responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact.
This is what Peter Gustafsson, recruiting manager, says about the role:
"This role is central to how our IT support contributes to the development and daily operations of the business. As IT Facility Manager, you will have overall responsibility for our business-critical systems and become a key player in the interplay between technology, operations, and development.
You need to be able to switch between working operationally close to the business and taking a more long-term, strategic perspective. With us, you become part of an engaged and competent team where we support each other, share knowledge, and drive development together."
Role and Competency Requirements
As IT Facility Manager, you have overall responsibility for Telge Bostäder's IT system support, where the company is the main client. The focus of the role lies on the property management system Vitec with its associated modules, as well as its integrations with other business-critical systems, such as finance and leasing.
The role aims to ensure that the systems function stably, develop in line with the business's needs, and are used in an efficient and purposeful manner. You work with both facility management and further development, from daily monitoring and prioritization to strategic decisions regarding changes, improvements, and investments.
You collaborate closely with the business through superusers and representatives from different parts of the organization, as well as with other companies within the group. An important part of the work is also the collaboration with external suppliers and the municipal group's IT organization, where you order, follow up, and quality-assure deliveries based on functionality, cost, and long-term sustainability. You also participate in procurement and contract-related matters.
In business development projects, including those related to digitalization and increased use of AI, you represent the technology and system perspective and are responsible for relevant project deliveries. You have colleagues who work with registry maintenance and implementation projects to support you.
We are looking for you who have at least upper secondary education, with a solid professional background in IT facility management, system support, or similar roles. Academic education in systems science, IT, or a related field is meritorious. You have several years of experience working with the management and development of larger system environments, preferably within the property industry. Experience with property systems such as Vitec, or similar, is highly meritorious, as is experience from the non-profit housing sector. You have very good system proficiency and work comfortably with the Office suite. The role requires very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
To succeed in the role, you need experience in taking overall responsibility for complex systems with many users, modules, and integrations, where operational reliability and availability are business-critical. You understand the consequences of system outages and work proactively to minimize risks and ensure stability. You have the ability to switch between operational work and a more strategic perspective, depending on the situation and needs. The role places high demands on self-leadership, structure, and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to drive issues forward in collaboration with others.
You are communicative and confident in collaborating with people in different roles and with varying levels of IT maturity. With your technical understanding, you can see connections between different systems and translate business needs into clear requirements and solutions. As a person, you work in a structured and methodical way, handle several parallel tasks, and thrive in a role with many contact points. You are solution-oriented, responsible, and actively contribute to good collaboration. You act in line with Telge's core values by being open, courageous, personal, and simple in your way of working.
You are structured and analytical with the ability to translate technical understanding and business needs into functioning solutions. You take initiative, drive your work independently, and create momentum in issues that span several parts of the organization. The role requires that you can lead without formal personnel responsibility, create trust, and get others involved in change and development work.
