We are looking for a driven and engaged property technician/property caretaker for our office in Umeå. Experience in the field is an advantage.

As a property caretaker at Höga Kusten Skog & Fastighet, you will be responsible for the interior and exterior maintenance of properties. You will work independently as well as collaboratively with your colleagues. As a property technician, you interact with our tenants daily and ensure our customers' properties are well-maintained. You are one of our most important employees, creating added value for both tenants and properties. To succeed in this role, you enjoy providing excellent customer service and delivering high-quality support with great engagement. We are looking for candidates with both long and short experience in the industry, provided you have the right personality and drive to develop.

In this role, you are responsible for operations, fault reporting, supervision and maintenance, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance of technical installations within the property portfolio. We place great emphasis on your personality and motivations, as we believe that your curiosity combined with professional development will help you handle situations as they arise.

Examples of tasks included in the role over time:

• Supervision, maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
• Handling fault reports, as well as planning, executing, and controlling maintenance measures.
• Operational optimization.
• Hiring and coordinating contractors for work within the maintenance contract.
• Assisting with official inspections and ensuring they are carried out.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience as a property caretaker, property technician, or have otherwise acquired knowledge in the field. You have good communication skills and are service-oriented with a positive attitude towards tenants, customers, and colleagues. As a person, you are good at planning and prioritizing your work. Since computer use is a natural part of the job, we expect you to be computer literate.

A valid B-driver's license is required.

The position is a permanent employment, and we apply a probationary period. Selection and interviews will take place on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

We currently have up to 80 employees during the high season and an average of approximately 35 full-time employees. Revenue has grown from 3.2 million SEK in the first year to just over 120 million SEK in the last fiscal year. The company is currently established in four locations, from Sundsvall in the south to Umeå in the north.
