We are now looking for engaged hourly substitute residential support workers for our new group home, Broängen A, in Jälla, just outside Uppsala. Here you will help build a business where quality, involvement, and warmth permeate everything we do – together with colleagues who are passionate about the same thing.

💼 About the role
As a residential support worker, you work to provide individualized support to people with various disabilities. Your task is to strengthen independence and quality of life – by creating structure, motivating activity, and being present socially – always with respect, engagement, and curiosity.

You will, among other things:

• support in daily chores such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, and hygiene
• be a social support in conversations, leisure activities, and excursions
• document interventions and follow up on implementation plans
• contribute to good collaboration within the team and with relatives

Working hours are scheduled according to the clients' needs and include day, evening, night (sleeping on-call), and weekend work every other weekend.

The group home in Jälla consists of a newly built LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) residence located in a nature-rich area, with good transport connections to central Uppsala. 👤 Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are curious, engaged, and have a genuine interest in people. You are confident in yourself, sensitive in meetings with others, and thrive in a job where every day looks different.

We prefer that you have:

• education as an assistant nurse, childcare worker, or other equivalent care education
• previous experience of LSS or work with people with disabilities
• good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• good physical fitness
• A driving license (Category B) is required
