Your new role
We are currently looking for a QA Coordinator for a central methodology function within a major Swedish bank.
You will become part of an experienced team responsible for test and release management. The role is operational and coordinating, with a strong focus on quality, progress, and collaboration in an agile environment. You will work closely with QA and release managers, as well as many internal and external stakeholders.
As a QA Coordinator, you have operational responsibility for test coordination in the bank's releases. You act as the hub in the testing flow and ensure that tests are planned, executed, and followed up in a structured manner.
You will play a key role in creating a holistic overview, identifying risks, and removing obstacles for test teams and deliveries.
Examples of tasks
- Coordinate and follow up on test activities in ongoing releases
- Ensure test environments are available and monitor availability according to plan
- Support test leads in resolving obstacles and driving progress
- Conduct risk and impact analyses related to testing
- Communicate overall test status and deviations
- Coordinate monthly releases and support year-end testing
- Contribute to the improvement of test and change processes

To be successful in this role, you need
- Relevant academic education
- Several years of experience as a test coordinator, test scheduler, or similar role
- Experience from complex IT environments, preferably with outsourced deliveries
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English
- Advantageous: Experience with SAFe and lean-agile working methods
- Advantageous: ITIL knowledge
- Advantageous: Experience from banking or financial services
