Job Description

In the role of Project Manager, you will build broad knowledge of both the power system and cutting-edge IT solutions. You will collaborate with experts both internally at Svenska kraftnät, with other Transmission System Operators (TSOs), and with suppliers. Furthermore, the role involves:

• Conducting stakeholder analyses with the interests of respective parties.
• Leading architects and ensuring that solutions are developed, tested, and implemented.
• Analyzing business processes and improvement proposals, and translating these into concrete requirements based on business needs into requirements for IT and decision support in collaboration with business specialists and architects.
• Describing how different users handle existing systems today and how the business process looks during changes, as well as what needs to be done from a database or development perspective in different situations.
• Separating the current state from forward-looking requirements in documentation. Ensuring the progress of various alternative solutions, evaluating them together with colleagues, and justifying a recommendation in an appropriate documentation format.
• Assisting in various roles and responsibilities that extend cross-functionally within the organization, as well as participating in Nordic and European forums to represent Svenska kraftnät.

You will collaborate with colleagues with many years of experience in the electricity industry, giving you the opportunity to receive good guidance and training in your new role, as well as gaining deep knowledge of the electricity market alongside the technical work.

Requirements

1. Completed university/college education of at least 120 credits/180 ECTS in IT/Economics/Electricity/Engineering.
2. At least 9 years of work experience in project management with a focus on IT projects involving requirements definition for IT solutions and subsequent development.
3. At least 5 years of experience working with IT issues for complex IT environments, with many integrations and high demands on information security.
4. At least 5 years of work experience as a requirements analyst.
5. At least 5 years of work experience in agile working methods based on SAFe or similar.
6. At least 5 years of work experience with master data or structured data systems.
7. At least 2 years of work experience from the Swedish or Nordic electricity market.
8. At least 2 years of work experience in control room-related operations and systems.
