What does the job as a Nursing Assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?

A nursing assistant at Norlandia is a valuable key person, and we are looking for you who are skilled in your professional role and enjoy meeting people in various situations. Together in the team with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we collaborate around the resident to provide a good life every day.

We are looking for you with a genuine interest in older people, where your main tasks are to design safe and secure personal care and support. You support the resident in their daily life and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday life. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing residents with good, high-quality care and support in accordance with what has been agreed upon with the resident in the implementation plan.

This includes among other things:

• Work as a contact person based on Norlandia's concept Your Day.
• Personal care and support, and utilizing the residents' own resources.
• Work based on Norlandia's concept Delicious Meal so that our residents appreciate the food and that the meal experience adds a golden touch to everyday life.
• Document according to the Social Services Act; keep a social journal and draw up and follow up the implementation plan.
• Plan, offer, and carry out daily activities, outdoor visits, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individual and group activities.
• Perform service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, escorting, and shopping, among others.
• Receive and perform delegated tasks such as medication delegation.
• Take responsibility in ombudsman roles.
• Actively participate in the organization's quality and improvement work.

About Sannagården Elderly Care Home

Sannagården Elderly Care Home is located in Tvååker. We have 30 apartments spread over four units, one of which is for people with dementia. The position we currently have open is on our smallest somatic unit.

• You must have proof of the right to use the professional title nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).
• Previous experience within care and support is meritorious.
• You need to have good knowledge of documentation.
• You command the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.
• We would like you to have good computer skills.
• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations.

Other information

Employment type: Permanent

Scope: 75.56% according to agreement

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement

Probation: We apply a 6-month probation period.

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to produce an extract from the criminal record register. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
