We are looking for a Release Coordinator/Test Coordinator (Banking) for a company in Stockholm. Start date is June 1st, initially for a one-year fixed-term contract. This role is 100% onsite in Stockholm.

About the job

You will join the Method group, which is responsible for the bank's test and release management, with the aim of ensuring quality in the bank's deliveries and creating conditions for shorter time-to-market. You will become part of a team of professional employees where the work climate is characterized by openness and a "flat hierarchy". You will work closely with the bank's QA Manager and Release Manager. Your contribution to the group's total delivery is important, and collaboration with other teams is extensive. Health is highly valued, just as teamwork and having fun at work.

As a QA Coordinator, you have primary responsibility for operational test coordination in the bank's releases. The tasks involve channeling test questions correctly and, at a high level, directing and supporting those conducting acceptance tests.

You will also work on:

  • Creating an overview of all included tests
  • Providing support to test leaders/test managers to remove potential obstacles
  • Mapping risks within testing (test focus analysis) including proposed measures
  • Ensuring, in collaboration with the bank's test manager, that test environments are available for the tests to be conducted
  • Monitoring that test environments are available as planned and that agreed routines are followed
  • Holding regular check-ins with test leaders/test managers and monitoring that tests proceed according to plan
  • Communicating ongoing overall status within testing and, if action is needed, coordinating with test and release managers and suppliers
  • Gathering experiences after a completed test period and striving for continuous improvement
  • Coordinating the bank's monthly releases
  • Leading year-end transition tests
  • Follow-up and quality assurance of the bank's change management
  • Training within the bank's processes and proposing improvements

Who are you?

As a person, you thrive in a coordinating role and always strive for high professionalism. You are self-motivated, driven, and enjoy having many contact points. To thrive with us, it is also important that you want to contribute to driving change and wish to develop further in your role and in the business. You have an interest in details and the ability to see the big picture. Furthermore, you have a strong drive to get things done and a clear customer and business focus.

We are looking for you who have a relevant academic background and several years of documented experience from similar roles such as test coordinator, test scheduler, or similar, preferably in an operation with a large share of outsourced IT and that has implemented agile working methods. We also see it as a clear advantage if you have industry experience from banking.

You have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, as you have many contact points within our organization and with our suppliers. As a person, you are solution-oriented, proactive, and structured.

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge and experience of lean-agile work and SAFe
  • Knowledge and experience of ITIL
  • Experience in banking is meritorious.
