This is your assignment
As a DevOps Technician, you will be part of a team with overall responsibility for container and Linux environments, including the development, operations, and lifecycle management of these environments.
Your duties include ensuring that current and new solutions meet high availability and security requirements.
The role offers you the opportunity to work in a complex IT environment and influence the development of next-generation technology platforms.
You will have the opportunity to contribute in an agile environment and see how new technology can make Sweden even safer.
Your placement is at our regional office in Linköping, and the work is performed on-site, meaning you do not have the option to work remotely. Travel within and outside Sweden may occur.
These are the qualifications we are looking for
Only those who meet the following requirements will be considered for the position.
Requirements:
- At least two years of technical post-secondary education or work experience that the Swedish Security Service considers equivalent.
- Several years of experience administering Linux infrastructure.
- Experience with container technology.
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Good ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
The position requires Swedish citizenship.
You may also have competencies that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with any or several of the following, it is meritorious:
- Experience with containerization, automation, orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with installation, administration, and operation of Linux systems and related infrastructure services such as repository management, monitoring, and authentication.
- Experience working in agile teams.
- Experience with complex IT environments with high security requirements.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of modern products implemented on Linux infrastructure.

Terms of employment and benefits
Employment at the Swedish Security Service involves placement in a security class that requires Swedish citizenship. Employment also requires a passing result in the security investigation with register check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
This is a permanent position starting with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment includes an obligation to be placed on war footing (krigsplacering).
