Prolympia is Sweden's leading sports school at the primary level, with operations stretching from Gothenburg in the south to Umeå in the north. Beautifully situated on Sätraåsen in Gävle, and within walking distance of Monitor ERP Arena, Gavlevallen, Gunder Hägg Stadium, Gävle Tennis Hall, and the new sports facilities at Gavlehov, we offer education focused on knowledge, security, sports, and health for students from preschool through grade nine. This year, we have nearly 650 student-athletes enrolled.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a teacher, you will teach Mathematics/Natural Science (Ma/No). Teaching will take place in grades 7-9. In your daily work, you will plan lessons, prepare materials, and document student development. You will actively work to stimulate all students to develop their knowledge and have the ability to adapt teaching to promote learning and good academic results. You will be part of a work team where you have the opportunity daily to exchange experiences, thoughts, and ideas that can improve your teaching and contribute to school development. The role includes being a mentor for a class.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree from a teacher education program with a teaching license and eligibility to teach Ma/No. Employment requires an extract from the criminal record register regarding work in schools and preschools.
