Do you want a meaningful job where you make a difference for other people every day? We are now looking for substitutes for our special housing, home care, as well as operations within disability support and social psychiatry.

Our approach is supportive and rehabilitative, focusing on utilizing the individual's resources and abilities.

We offer summer substitute positions where you work according to a schedule following day, evening, weekend, and/or night. There is an opportunity to start working already during the spring as we have a continuous need for hourly substitutes throughout the year. You get the opportunity to work at several workplaces and within different operations, which provides varied and developmental work.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for summer substitutes for the following areas:

Home Care and Special Housing – Elderly Care

You work both independently and together with colleagues. The work involves supporting care recipients in their daily lives through personal care, help with hygiene, medication, meals, social interaction, and activities. The work always starts from the individual's needs and conditions.

We are looking for assistant nurses/care assistants for:

• The elderly home Lintjärn, which is our care and dementia home in Forshaga, as well as the elderly home Ullerudsgården, which is our corresponding operation in Deje.
• Home care in Forshaga and Deje.

Disability Support and Social Psychiatry

Here you work as a personal assistant and habilitation assistant. You provide support to people with different functional variations to enable as independent and meaningful a life as possible. The work takes place in close cooperation with the individual and can be located in group and service housing, in the individual's home, at day activities, or within short-term care.

The operations are located both in Forshaga and Deje.

We are looking for habilitation assistants/personal assistants for:

• Housing according to LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments)
• Social psychiatry housing
• Day activities
• Personal assistance to care recipients with decisions according to LSS
• Short-term stays for children and young people with disabilities

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with people and who, with engagement, contribute to a safe and well-functioning daily life for our care recipients. You are responsible, can make your own decisions, and have good collaboration skills. You work with a listening ear, professionally, and with respectful treatment.

It is meritorious if you have relevant education, such as from the nursing program, child and youth program, or pedagogical education, but it is not a requirement. Experience from similar work is an advantage. A B-driver's license is meritorious.

You are calm, attentive, and service-oriented with the desire to help others. Communication is an important part of the work, and therefore you need to master the Swedish language in speech and writing. You should have passing grades in Swedish equivalent to grade 9. We place great importance on personal suitability.

For employment in certain parts of disability support, we request extracts from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register.
