About you and the role

This role is perfect for you who want to work 50% part-time as a Cold Station Chef and thrive in a structured kitchen with a high tempo. The position suits you if you are looking for a clear part-time role with fixed frameworks and the opportunity to be a key part of the kitchen team.

The work takes place in an environment with clear routines and high volumes, where you are responsible for the cold station, from starters and salads to desserts and other cold components. Precision, speed, and planning are crucial from preparation to service.

Mise en place, ingredient handling, and presentation maintain an even and high standard, where every dish is delivered with the same quality regardless of the pace. A well-organized station is a prerequisite for smooth service.

The role involves responsibility for the cold station running smoothly throughout service, while close collaboration with the rest of the kitchen ensures the overall quality of the delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the cold station (starters, salads, desserts, and cold dishes)

  • Prepare and produce menu components, including sauces, garnishes, and mise en place

  • Ensure the station is fully prepared, organized, and stocked before service

  • Responsible for the layout and presentation of cold dishes according to standards

  • Work efficiently during service with a focus on speed, precision, and consistent quality

  • Ensure correct handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients

  • Maintain a high level of order, cleanliness, and structure at the station throughout the shift

  • Collaborate with other kitchen stations to ensure a smooth service flow

  • Follow and ensure routines according to food hygiene and HACCP

  • Contribute to a professional, stable, and positive work climate

Requirements
  • Experience from a similar role, preferably in high-volume operations

  • Good structure and ability to work in an organized manner

  • Ability to work at a high pace without compromising on quality

  • Good knowledge of food hygiene

  • Independent in your work but functions well in a team

  • Precise, responsible, and stable in your delivery
