Fyren EkAlmen is an established primary school (grades F-6) in Örebro Municipality, characterized by a family-like atmosphere where we value and work towards safety and well-being for both students and staff. The school is beautifully situated near Lake Hjälmaren and nature areas in Ekeby-Almby, east of Örebro.

For the autumn term of 2026, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant (75%) who wants to join the team in "Byssan" – our preparation kitchen – and work as a Recreation Pedagogue (25%) at our after-school center, "Utehamnen".

Approximately 350 lunch portions are served daily, followed by the preparation of snacks for the after-school program. Together with two chefs, you will be responsible for cooking, special diets, dishwashing, and cleaning during the school day. For four afternoons a week, you will also be responsible for activities at the after-school center alongside another recreation pedagogue.

Employment: 100% daytime hours, Monday to Friday, starting in August 2026.
