Lekhyttans Kök is a unique roadside restaurant where all food is cooked from scratch. We offer breakfast sandwiches, homemade coffee breaks, lunch, à la carte, and catering seven days a week.

For the 2026 season, we are now looking for a Cook, alternatively a Grill Cook or an Experienced Restaurant Assistant to work with us in the kitchen. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

For the summer season, we need additional support for our à la carte preparation. You should have experience serving well-cooked food to customers in a fast-paced environment. Experience as a grill cook or in fast food is an advantage, but we are looking for someone who wants to develop further.

Fluent Swedish is a requirement to be able to handle the work with us.

We are a small team that helps each other out. The work is varied and challenging. We have a fixed à la carte menu as well as a weekly menu with today's lunch (three different options) that changes from week to week. We maintain high standards for our food.

At Lekhyttans, things often go from zero to sixty in a few minutes. To fit in with us, you must be stress-resistant, efficient, and meticulous. The work includes cooking and prep for both lunch and à la carte.

We work weekdays, weekends, and both morning and afternoon shifts. We do not have late evening shifts as we close no later than 19:00.

It is easy to commute here by public transport, both from Örebro and Karlskoga.
