Do you want to help develop the digital mobility bank of the future? Ziklo Bank is now looking for a Senior Backend Developer specializing in Java and AWS to join the team behind CarPay in Gothenburg. Here, you will work with modern backend solutions, cloud-based system development, and business-critical services within fintech and digital payment solutions.

As a Backend Developer at Ziklo Bank, you will become an important part of an engaged development team responsible for the further development and maintenance of CarPay and the internet bank. The role involves close collaboration with developers, product owners, security specialists, and the business to create robust, scalable, and secure solutions in a regulatory environment.

• Develop and further develop backend services in Java and Spring Framework
• Build and maintain REST-based APIs and integrations
• Work with cloud-based solutions in AWS
• Contribute to robust code quality, logging, and traceability
• Collaborate with Security Champions and specialists in application security
• Participate in both new development and maintenance of business-critical systems
• Ensure that solutions meet regulatory requirements and compliance
• Contribute to the team's continuous improvement and technical development

We are looking for you who is an experienced backend developer with a strong interest in modern system development, cloud technology, and secure digital services. You thrive in a collaborative environment where the team shares responsibility and where you have the opportunity to influence both technical choices and working methods.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience in backend development in Java
• Relevant higher education or equivalent experience
• Very good knowledge of Spring Framework
• Very good knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience with AWS environments (AWS Certified Developer – Associate and/or equivalent competence)
• Experience in developing REST-based APIs
• Experience working in production environments and complex system landscapes
• Understanding of DevOps and/or close collaboration with the operations organization
• Interest in security, DevSecOps, and regulatory environments
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you also have experience with:

• Kafka
• Agentic development or AI-related working methods
• The FinTech industry
• DevSecOps
