We are looking for a Chartering Operator who wants to drive our daily operations forward and create value in every transport.

This is a business-oriented and operational role where you work closely with our vessels, customers, and partners, focusing on ensuring efficient, profitable, and well-functioning transports.

You will join us during an expansion phase with significant investments in the future fleet. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a central role within the business, contributing to both daily operations and our continued development.

Your daily tasks

As a Chartering Operator, you will work broadly with vessel operations and transport flows. You are a key link between vessels, customers, agents, and internal functions, ensuring that every voyage is carried out as efficiently as possible.

The work is varied and involves planning, follow-up, and ongoing problem-solving. You collaborate closely with colleagues and external partners, and are involved in creating structure, control, and profitability in our business.

Among other things, you will:

• Work with vessel operational tasks in daily operations
• Prepare pre- and post-calculations for transports
• Calculate bunker costs and CO2 emissions
• Document vessel port calls
• Handle invoicing, as well as accounting and verification of incoming invoices
• Communicate with vessels, agents, and brokers
• Negotiate with subcontractors regarding compensation and terms
• Visit vessels and support our subsidiary OP Ship as needed

The role involves close collaboration with several parts of the organization and gives you a good insight into the entire transport chain.
