There is now an opportunity to take on a part-time position (75%) for the autumn term, starting in August 2026 and running until December 31st. There is also a possibility to extend the contract until June 2027. This is perfect for you if you want to try working in our environment.

Fjällbjörken Preschool is a parent cooperative with a pedagogical approach focused on outdoor education and creativity, encouraging children to explore on their own. The premises are adapted to the needs of our activities and inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

We have space for 20 children aged 1–5. Our yard consists of a lovely mountain birch forest where we prefer to spend our days. We work towards sustainable development and want the children to develop a sense of nature and its cycles. The fundamental starting point is respect for children's thoughts, feelings, needs, and interests.

Our environmental thinking permeates the entire pedagogical activity. Serving the children good organic food, prepared in the preschool's own kitchen by knowledgeable and engaged staff, is important to us.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a childcare worker (barnskötare) or a preschool teacher (förskollärare), or who have previous experience in caring for children. We would appreciate it if you have an interest in outdoor life and thrive in nature. Our activity works to ensure that every employee continuously develops as a pedagogue together with their colleagues.
