About the role

Knowit Cybersecurity & Law is the most exciting specialist company in the Nordics within IT and Information Security as well as digitalization law. Here, you will become part of a national team of 150 dedicated security specialists. As a consultant at Knowit in Linköping, you will have the opportunity to work with everything from large government agencies to innovative private companies in sectors such as energy, healthcare, and finance. You will join the Nordic IT Security team, which currently consists of 14 people. You will also work cross-border together with colleagues within information security, law, and security protection. Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Pentester, you have significant independent responsibility. You drive your assignments independently – from initial client contact to final reporting. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and conducting technical penetration tests in complex client environments.
• Working according to established methods such as PTES and OWASP WSTG.
• Analyzing vulnerabilities and packaging conclusions into clear reports.
• Presenting analyses and providing strategic advice to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contributing to the development of Knowit's service offerings within IT security.

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years of experience in technical security testing (pentesting).
• Hold a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience.
• Have a strong inner drive and thrive on combining deep technical skills with a consultative approach.
• Have documented experience in independently planning and executing tests according to recognized methods.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English, as report writing is a central part of the role.

It is an advantage if you have

• Certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, GWAPT, or eCPPT.
• Experience working with security-sensitive operations.

For this role, having Swedish citizenship is an advantage as many of the clients are subject to the Security Protection Act.
