About the role

As a Junior Category Manager, you will be responsible for a supplier portfolio within projects, series production, and aftermarket at a leading company in the automotive industry. You will work in an international team, managing supplier relationships, optimizing total cost, and ensuring quality, sustainability, capacity, and cost efficiency.

Your responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing portfolio for projects, series production, and aftermarket.
• Drive and develop supplier relationships within your area of responsibility.
• Optimize total cost and ensure delivery according to QSCC requirements (Quality, Safety, Cost, Capacity).
• Utilize data and digital tools – including AI – in your daily work.
• Manage internal and external relationships.

How can you contribute?

Probably with quite a lot, but in the role of Junior Category Manager, it is a good fit if you recognize yourself in the following:

• Hold an academic background in Industrial Economics, Supply Chain, or a similar field.
• Wish to work long-term in Arvika.
• Are analytical, structured, and driven by problem-solving.
• Communicate well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Are curious about sustainability, digitalization, and the future role of procurement.

You will be part of an Academy group and complete a structured training program focused on strategic purchasing, negotiation, AI tools, and supplier relationships. The goal is a permanent position with the client after completing the Academy year.
