About the role

As an Electrical Designer, you will support colleagues in projects related to railway power supply and signaling systems for rail-bound traffic. You will work with installations spanning a wide voltage range and contribute to projects involving rectifier technology and rectifier stations. You will become part of a collaborative team consisting of project managers, electrical designers, automation engineers, and testers/commissioning engineers.

This is initially a consulting assignment lasting until the turn of the year, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Support senior electrical designers in ongoing projects
• Work with updating, structuring, and quality assurance of drawings and technical documentation
• Perform simpler electrical designs under supervision
• Handle device lists, connection tables, and drawing materials in a CAD environment

We are looking for someone who

• Has post-secondary education in electrical power, electrical design, or equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Has a basic understanding of electrical power and control installations
• Has good knowledge of CAD tools, specifically elMaster
• Has the ability to work systematically with drawing management and technical documentation
• Has good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience in performing electrical designs and adapting existing control installations to converter or rectifier stations within railway power supply, or alternatively distribution or transmission installations
