About the position Vattmyren consists of two small, secure treatment units that receive youths aged 15–20 with sexual behavioral problems. The facility is located approximately 20 km outside Uppsala. As a Treatment Pedagogue at our units, you will become an important part of the daily work by, among other things, meeting the youths in their everyday lives. We work with individual treatment where each client has their own implementation plan based on their needs. We work in a team where all treatment staff and psychologists collaborate to provide the client with the best care based on their conditions and situation.

As a Treatment Pedagogue at Vattmyren 2, your main tasks will include:

• Treatment interventions
• Documentation
• External contacts with social services and other authorities
• Everyday chores

Who are you? Working with the youths requires you to be secure, structured, risk-aware, solution-focused, stress-resistant, and have good prerequisites for working in a sometimes tough psychosocial work environment. You have a good ability to converse with children and youths and to build good relationships. We are looking for you who are a Treatment Pedagogue/Social Pedagogue and have experience working in an HVB (residential care home). We are also open to applications from you who have other education, e.g., social worker, behavioral scientist, or other documented experience.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience working in treatment for children and young people as well as psychiatry
• Have experience with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
• Have experience with documentation and medication management

Other requirements: A manual Category B driver's license is required for the position. You must master Swedish in speech and writing. You should have good computer skills. An extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record and suspicion register for personnel at HVB facilities is always required prior to employment.

Employment degree and working hours: Permanent position at 100%. The working hours are distributed on a rolling 4-week schedule.

Start date is according to agreement.
