ABOUT THE ROLE:

In the role of Component Engineer, you will work broadly in connection with production at the site in Gothenburg as well as other production sites in Europe. You will, among other things, work with new production technology related to advanced electronic components, handle requirement specifications from major space-related authorities and customers, and participate in the implementation of customer-specific solutions.

You will play a central role in ensuring that the components meet high demands for quality and reliability. The work includes analyzing component functionality, manufacturing processes, and lifespan. Furthermore, you will work with theoretical models, material flows, and supply chains, in close collaboration with both internal and external contacts. The goal is to evaluate and select components that meet requirements for cost, performance, and quality.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Hold a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Have experience or interest in working with electronic components and their functionality.
• Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience working with material supply to production.
• Have worked in ERP systems, preferably SAP.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that initially, you will be employed by Friday. The ambition from our side and our client's side is that you will subsequently be hired directly by the client.

This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.

• Scope: Full-time.
• Location: Gothenburg.
• Start: Immediately, subject to any notice period of up to 3 months.
