Job Information

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who wants to work closely with customers on industrial drive solutions. This is a direct recruitment position, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord, and you will be employed directly by WEG Scandinavia. About the Role

As a Sales Engineer at WEG, you play a central role in supporting and developing business within Motion Drives Systems. You work closely with both customers and internal sales and technical functions, contributing your technical expertise and business understanding. In this role, you will work closely with WEG's international sales and engineering teams, as well as factories around the world.

In this role, you work on upselling and serve as technical support within the business process. You have direct contact with existing customers, answering technical questions. This may involve verifying technical requirements, communicating with factories, and advising sales teams on the best solutions.

Examples of tasks include:

  • Analyzing customer needs and specifications
  • Driving customer contact and continuously working on upselling
  • Supporting sales teams, providing technical competence, and creating quotations
  • Building and strengthening long-term customer relationships

Who are you?

For this role, it is of utmost importance that you are a technically knowledgeable person with competence in a relevant field. You do not necessarily need to have worked in sales or customer contact before, but you must thrive in a communicative role with extensive interaction.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has an engineering degree with a technical focus
  • Has at least 5 years of work experience from technical and customer-facing roles
  • Is proficient with computers and systems
  • Is fluent in English

If you also have practical experience working with electronics, low-voltage motors, and/or gear solutions, it is an asset for the position.
