Job Responsibilities
We are currently looking for several dedicated and caring nursing assistants/care assistants for our specialized housing facilities located in Lenhovda, Åseda, and Älghult during the summer. With us, you will have the opportunity to create security and quality of life for our residents through professional, warm, and individualized care.
As an employee in specialized housing, you work closely with the residents and provide support and care based on their individual needs. Your tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Personal care
- Medically delegated tasks
- Support during meals and daily activities
- Social stimulation and security-building measures
- Documentation in the operational system
The work involves actively participating in developing a good care and support environment for the residents.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in elderly care, where you treat people with respect, warmth, and professionalism. You find it easy to collaborate but can also work independently. Since documentation is an important part of the job, good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language are required.
Previous experience and/or education in the field is meritorious.
The vacation period is June, July, and August. We prioritize applicants who can work both vacation periods (weeks 26-29 and weeks 30-33 respectively). A mandatory introduction will take place before the summer temporary position begins.
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Employment Conditions
- Salary: Hourly wage
- Employment type: Summer job / Vacation work
- Duration: 11 days - 3 months
- Working hours: Our operations run around the clock, every day of the week, so you may work days, evenings, weekends, or nights
If you become a candidate for employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record register. The Municipal Executive Board has made a decision that all new hires must present a criminal record extract before employment. The extract required is for work in schools or preschools.
