We are looking for an engaged and driven Data Steward who wants to be a key player in team MADS (Machine learning, Analysis & Data Science). This role suits you if you combine an analytical mindset with strong collaboration skills and thrive in a position where you manage, develop, and analyze data in close dialogue with the business.

This is a unique hybrid role where you spend half your time on data science and half on data stewardship, giving you significant influence over how we develop a data environment that enables advanced analysis and machine learning.

What will you do? As a Data Steward, you work in the interplay between technology and business, with overall responsibility for how data is used, developed, and creates value within the organization. You drive and represent the MADS team's needs regarding data, analytics, and machine learning, ensuring that the data perspective is included and prioritized in the business's development initiatives.

You are a central contact point for questions, ideas, and information flows related to data and databases, and you keep a continuous eye on the data landscape – what works, what needs to be addressed, and what development work is underway. Through close collaboration with tech teams and requirement owners across different parts of the business, you ensure that the right prerequisites are in place and that the MADS team is involved early in projects.

The role also involves actively working to improve and structure data sources to enable analysis and machine learning. You conduct analyses that support both strategic and operational decisions, identify business opportunities and trends, and turn data into insights through clear visualizations and presentations. You are also involved in defining and developing ML models and contribute to the team's joint work on creating data-driven solutions.

The work is characterized by a structured and methodical approach, with a focus on prioritization, transparency, and close collaboration within the team.
