Job Description

We are now looking for you, who with a warm, engaged, and responsible approach wants to work as a nursing assistant/care assistant in our home care service during the summer. With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with people, create security, and contribute to our residents living an independent and meaningful life in their own homes. We work according to the Social Services Act and the national value base with a focus on the individual's needs.

As an employee in home care, you work with providing support, service, and care based on the individual's specific needs. The work is based at one of our various offices located in Alstermo, Lenhovda, Norrhult, or Åseda.

The duties include, among other things:

  • Personal care
  • Support during meals
  • Cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Social support and safety measures
  • Documentation in operational systems
  • Collaboration with colleagues, relatives, and other professions

The work is independent but with close support from colleagues. You meet people in different life situations and contribute to making each day as good as possible for them. In the professional role, you are required to show respect and consideration for those you meet in your work. You have an open and positive attitude and have the individual's needs as the starting point for your actions. You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals.

Qualifications

We see that you are a calm, secure, and approachable individual with good communication skills in Swedish and experience documenting in various systems. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole. You work efficiently, can balance different demands, and keep your cool in difficult situations. It is meritorious if you have experience from home care or other care work, but the most important thing is your attitude and willingness to learn.

  • A driver's license is required

Employment Conditions

The vacation period is June, July, and August. We prioritize applicants who can work both vacation periods (weeks 26-29 and weeks 30-33 respectively). An obligatory introduction will take place before the summer temporary position begins.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

  • Salary: Hourly wage
  • Employment type: Summer job / Holiday work
  • Duration: 11 days - 3 months
  • Working hours: Our operations run around the clock, every day of the week, so you may work days, evenings, weekends, or nights

If you are considered for employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record. The Municipal Executive Board has made a decision that all new hires must present a criminal record extract before employment. The extract to be shown is the one for work in schools or preschools.
