Job Description
We want to strengthen our team in Uppsala with a Site/Utility Project Engineer. We are looking for you who have experience in design from site and/or utility projects, and wish to continue developing in your role as a project engineer. Regardless of whether your background is in site works or utilities, we see that you will eventually work with both disciplines within the assignments.
Our projects range from early-stage investigations and analyses to detailed design and the preparation of plans, technical descriptions, and bills of quantities. We work largely within quarter-site works such as housing, schools, and business premises, within public space works such as streets, squares, and parks, as well as with infrastructure. Contact with customers and project engineers from other technical areas is a natural part of our work.
Our group consists of site and utility engineers as well as landscape architects who work closely together on assignments. Here, you work in a structured team environment, where your engagement and willingness to develop are key success factors for our projects and towards our customers. You will work closely with our experienced colleagues who offer knowledge exchange in daily work. Here you have the opportunity to grow. We are a cohesive group within the large company, where professionalism, business acumen, and good collaboration are at the center.
Qualifications
We are looking for a positive employee who is driven by new challenges, quality results, and the joy of developing together with other colleagues. You are responsible with a high ability to organize and prioritize your work.
You have 1–3 years of work experience in utility and/or site design, and work in AutoCAD and Civil3D. Experience with leveling, technical descriptions, bills of quantities, stormwater and surface water management is preferred. Experience with design in Revit is a merit.
As AFRY is an international company, we expect you to master both Swedish and English, both in speech and writing, to meet our customers' needs and collaborate with international colleagues.
You have a vocational, university, or civil engineering education, or alternatively have acquired knowledge through practical execution, e.g., through construction work, site management, or similar, before your years as a project engineer.
Additional Information
We consider it natural and important that our employees develop and broaden their competence throughout their careers to continuously be stimulated to reach their full potential. We want to be your ideal employer, regardless of life stage, and we understand the importance of a balance between private and professional life.
