About the role:

Friday is recruiting on behalf of a client for a C# web developer for an exciting consulting assignment in Malmö. In this role, you will become part of a small web team consisting of three people working in backend, frontend, and testing. The team now needs reinforcement from an additional backend developer who primarily contributes ideas, problem-solving, and technical competence to the daily work. The assignment takes place with a public sector organization in Skåne and involves stepping into a long-term development project where the older system, which has been in operation for approximately 20 years, is being replaced.

In the role, you will work with development in C# and .NET, with a focus on building and further developing services, integrating APIs, as well as handling and adapting data to new system formats. An important part of the work will also involve writing and working with unit tests to ensure high quality in deliverables. The work is characterized by close collaboration within the team, where solutions are discussed together, ideas are shared, and a stable and sustainable architecture for the future is built.

To thrive in the role, we see that you have an analytical and solution-oriented approach to work and appreciate working in an agile environment where collaboration and innovation are in focus. It is an advantage if you have experience with transport or logistics systems as well as an understanding of authentication and security solutions.

We are looking for you who:

• Have 1–3 years of experience from a similar role
• Hold a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar
• Have good knowledge of C# / .NET
• Have experience writing and working with unit tests
• Speak and write fluent Swedish

It is not required, but an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with Azure and SQL
