On behalf of our client SAL Navigation, we are now looking for a Customer Relations Administrator for their office in Hägersten. SAL Navigation develops and delivers products for maritime safety, such as Voyage Data Recorders (also known as VDR or the "black box" for ships), Speed Logs, and Echo Sounders that measure the ship's speed and depth, as well as web-based applications. SAL Navigation is in an expansive phase and is growing rapidly both in the Nordics and internationally.
About the Role
In this role, you will belong to the Customer Relations department and a team of 4 people, where you will together deliver first-class service to SAL Navigation's customers. You will receive orders and requests via email and phone, as well as coordinate service cases together with partners around the world.
You will work in the business systems Microsoft Dynamics and Lime and report to the Customer Relations Manager. SAL Navigation's customers and partners are located in several different countries, and the majority of communication takes place in English, both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Receive and follow up on orders for systems and spare parts via email and portal, ensuring that important information about the customer, ship, order, and case is registered correctly in their system.
- Maintain close contact with customers, partners, and internal functions to collect and follow up on important information regarding cases, such as scope of work, ship schedule, spare part needs, and customer confirmations.
- Book and follow up on deliveries, service visits, and external service agents, ensuring cases are driven from start to finish.
- Handle invoicing to customers in connection with deliveries, service, annual surveys, and other completed cases.
- Update and ensure quality of information in Microsoft Dynamics and Lime, such as customer data, ships, articles, orders, cases, and follow-ups.
- Register and coordinate various types of customer and service cases, such as annual surveys, commissioning, returns/RMA, complaints, and warranty cases according to internal routines.
- Produce and handle documentation for deliveries and export, such as packing lists, proforma/commercial invoices, AWB, certificates of origin, ATR, and EUR1 when needed.
- Ensure that relevant case documentation, such as service reports, certificates, protocols, system updates, and other supporting documents, is registered and saved correctly according to internal routines.
- Ensure that cases requiring decisions outside your own role are escalated to the correct person or function.
- Contribute to improvement work and help develop working methods, system routines, and follow-up within Customer Relations.
Who are you?
For this position, we are looking for someone with a few years of experience in service, preferably in a combined role within service and administration. You have a professional approach, can work in a structured and careful manner while handling a sometimes high tempo. You enjoy problem-solving, have good administrative skills, and are skilled at building trust and relationships. To fit into the team, we see that you are a cheerful and unpretentious person who contributes to a pleasant atmosphere in the office!
To succeed in this role, we also see that you:
- Have good knowledge of the Office suite (especially Excel)
- Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage
- It is an advantage if you have a technical interest

At SAL Navigation, you are welcomed to a great group of 28 people, several of whom have been with the company for many years. The atmosphere is friendly and family-like, and the premises are large and fresh. Production, the warehouse, and the office are located in the same building, which fosters good cohesion and close collaboration with other colleagues and departments. Employment
This is a direct recruitment where we at The Place handle the entire recruitment process, and you will then be employed by SAL Navigation. Start in August. Working hours are 7–16 with some flexibility. A background check is conducted for final candidates.

The company's history dates back to 1912, when the Stockholm-based Svenska Aktiebolaget Logg (SAL) was among the first companies to launch a mechanical speed log that measured speed through water.
In 2012, the business had existed for 100 years. The company had then grown to encompass many different business areas and had sales and service offices along all major shipping routes around the world.
