About the Role

Eccera currently has an increased need for junior Linux technicians and system administrators for several clients in Stockholm. We are looking for you with an academic degree in a relevant field who is passionate about Linux server operations, networking, and IT security, and wants to develop within the area.

In this role, you will work with:

• Administration and operation of Linux-based systems
• System installations, setup, and troubleshooting
• Networking (routing, switches, TCP/IP) and security solutions
• Support and collaboration with internal and external users
• Opportunity to grow into more advanced system and security tasks

The role is broad and gives you a stable foundation to grow from, both technically and in understanding IT security and professional customer interaction.

We are looking for you who have:

• 1–3 years of work experience in Linux, system administration, or networking
• An academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• A high level of security awareness and interest in IT security
• Good collaboration skills and a willingness to learn together with others

Meritorious experience:

• Experience with server hardware, firewalls, and VPN
• Basic knowledge in encryption/PKI
• Mobile phone management (Android/iOS)
• Experience from environments with high demands on IT security

Security Clearance

These types of assignments and services are often classified. Therefore, security clearance with register check will be conducted upon employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
