We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager with a focus on Zero Trust, who wants to take a key role in driving and developing security initiatives in a complex organization. In this role with our client in Linköping, you will have the opportunity to work strategically and operationally with IT security and contribute to building a robust, secure, and future-proof IT environment.

Your responsibilities
In the role of Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and executing projects related to the implementation and further development of Zero Trust architecture. You work cross-functionally and in close collaboration with both technical teams and the business to ensure that solutions, processes, and deliverables meet high security requirements.
The responsibilities include among other things:
- Lead and drive projects for the implementation of Zero Trust principles
- Identify, analyze, and manage security risks within projects
- Ensure quality and compliance with security standards in project deliverables
- Communicate project status, risks, and progress to relevant stakeholders
- Create and maintain technical and project-related documentation
- Contribute to strengthening the organization's security awareness and working methods
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is structured, driving, and confident in the role of project manager within IT security. You have the ability to take overall responsibility for complex assignments, make well-founded decisions, and keep focus on both the goal and the delivery. You are communicative and can pedagogically convey technical security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You thrive in environments with high demands for quality, security, and collaboration, and have a natural ability to build trust with various stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in project management within IT security, with a focus on Zero Trust
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust architecture and its fundamental principles
- Very good knowledge of network security, including firewalls, IDS, and IPS
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM)
- Knowledge of cloud security and the application of Zero Trust in cloud environments
- Understanding of encryption and protection of data at rest and in transit
- Experience working according to established security standards such as NIST and ISO 27001
- Proficiency in working with security tools and platforms, such as SIEM and SOAR
- Documented experience leading complex IT projects, including planning, resource management, and follow-up
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent
- Experience from security-critical or regulated industries
- Experience driving change and improvement work within IT security
