ABOUT THE POSITION

Kura Omsorg is currently seeking several engaged and caring hourly substitutes who wish to work as personal assistants in Örnsköldsvik. Here, you will have the opportunity to work closely with people and make a real difference in their daily lives. As a personal assistant, you provide support in everything from daily routines to leisure activities – always with the goal of enabling the person you support to live as independent and meaningful a life as possible.

THE ROLE OF A PERSONAL ASSISTANT

As a personal assistant, you work in the user's home and provide support with what is needed in everyday life. This may include personal care, help with meals, household chores, or accompanying the user to activities and appointments outside the home.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people and who thrives in a role where you can contribute with care, engagement, and security. You are sensitive, responsible, and flexible – and you find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and clients.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and how well you match the people you work with. Experience in care or personal assistance is advantageous, but the most important thing is that you have the right attitude and the desire to do a good job.

Employment: Hourly substitute position

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Kura Omsorg, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. Since the position may involve solo work, night shifts, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will cover both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
