We are looking for an experienced interim accountant or accounting manager for a venture capital firm. The assignment starts within two weeks, lasts approximately four months, and is based in central Stockholm with good opportunities for hybrid work.
You will become part of a lean finance function responsible for accounting and financial reporting for several companies in the Nordic region.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing accounting for multiple legal entities
- Monthly and annual financial statements
- VAT reporting and filings
- Payroll management (in collaboration with external partners as needed)
- Supplier payments and reconciliations
- Coordination with auditors prior to audit
- Contribute to the improvement of routines and processes
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 5 years of accounting experience
- Is independent and confident in the entire closing process
- Has preferably worked with multiple companies or in an international environment
- Experience with fund accounting, venture capital, or private equity is advantageous but not required
- Experience with NetSuite is a significant plus
- Is based in Stockholm
