Are you a driven and curious person who wants to build a career in technical sales? Do you want to learn a trade from the ground up in a stable company with ambitious growth goals? Then this might be the role for you.

About the role

At our client's company, you will become part of an engaged sales team. Initially, you will support senior colleagues by handling administrative tasks related to the sales process. Your development is a priority, and there are excellent opportunities to grow into a more advanced role with direct customer responsibility over time.

The role begins with a focus on administrative duties to provide you with a solid foundation and a deep understanding of the business. During your first year, you will primarily work with order registration, handling quotations, and maintaining ongoing contact with existing customers. Simultaneously, you will build your product knowledge and gain insight into the technical aspects through close collaboration with the production team.

Over time, you are expected to gradually step into a more business-oriented sales role. This means increased responsibility for developing new business, establishing relationships in new markets, conducting customer visits, and representing the company at trade fairs.

Responsibilities

  • Handling and registering incoming orders and quotations in the business system
  • Providing technical advice and support to customers via phone and email
  • Proactive customer care by following up on deliveries, handling discrepancies, and ensuring the highest level of service
  • Collaborating closely with the production team

We are looking for someone who has

  • Previous experience in customer contact, for example from retail or service roles
  • Good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish, as it is used in daily work
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

Qualifications that are a plus

  • Post-secondary education, for example in marketing, economics, sales, or technology

As a person, you are service-oriented, clear in your communication, and enjoy providing professional support to customers. You have a natural curiosity and the drive to understand technically complex products and processes. The role requires you to be structured and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Since small details in an order are crucial to the final result, you place great importance on accuracy in your work. Furthermore, we look for someone with a business mindset who is motivated by long-term professional development.

Our recruitment process

This recruitment process is managed by Academic Work, and our client requests that all questions regarding the role be directed to Academic Work.

We conduct rolling selections and will remove the advertisement once enough candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. A CV is required when applying. We do not use cover letters as a selection method, so one is not needed. The recruitment process includes two selection tests: a personality test and a cognitive ability test. These tests are tools to identify the candidate with the highest potential for the role and to promote equality, diversity, and a fair recruitment process.
