Do you want to be the hub that keeps a global order flow running without interruption? As an Order Handler in Lund, you will be the spider in the web between the warehouse, customers, and transport, playing a key role from order to delivery in an international logistics environment.

About the role

As an Order Administrator at our client's distribution center, you will play a central role in ensuring that customer orders are handled efficiently and correctly from the system to delivery. You will work with complex flows in a global market and serve as a vital link between internal departments and external parties. The role requires both system competence and the ability to navigate a dynamic environment with a focus on proactive solutions. You will work closely with the warehouse, carriers, sales organization, and international customers to ensure deliveries are made on time and according to agreed terms.

In this role, you are employed by Academic Work and are assigned to our client.

Key Responsibilities

The work as an Order Administrator involves handling and coordinating order flows for a global market, from receipt in the business system to booking freight and handling relevant documents. You will be a key person in solving logistical challenges and ensuring smooth deliveries.

• Handle and follow up on customer orders in the business system (ERP).
• Manage export documentation and customs issues for global deliveries.
• Book freight and ensure correct delivery terms (Incoterms).
• Communicate with internal functions and external partners globally (sales, warehouse staff, and carriers).
• Monitor and ensure a smooth order flow from stock levels to final delivery.
• Proactively identify and solve problems in case of deviations or delays in the supply chain.
• Ensure high accuracy when entering data into the business system.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a high school education.
• Has excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
• Has good system proficiency (ERP) – experience working in large business systems.
• Has a basic understanding of order and logistics flows, including warehouse processes, picking times, and delivery terms (Incoterms).
• Has good stress resistance and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
• Has experience with international handling, including export flows, customs clearance, and freight bookings in an international context.
• Demonstrates high attention to detail in tasks.

Merits

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, SAP, or similar process-oriented systems.
