Job Description

The role involves:

• Gathering functional and non-functional requirements through workshops and uniformly documenting the results of the requirements work
• Ensuring that requirements are communicated and anchored with and between different requirement owners
• Coordinating requirements with business and IT architects
• Collaborating with the test manager for requirement coverage in test cases
• Providing methodological support in requirements management for various stakeholders
• Contributing to the development of requirements processes and strategies in collaboration with other requirement and test managers at the client
• Participating in test planning and testing, and therein verifying requirement fulfillment
• Actively contributing to information modeling and architectural decisions together with architects

During the assignment, other tasks within the unit/department may become relevant, such as working with testing, test management, and architecture work in related projects, which also lie close to the role of a requirements manager or other high-priority tasks.

You will collaborate with colleagues with many years of experience in the electricity industry, and you will thus have the opportunity to receive good guidance and training in your new role, as well as acquire in-depth knowledge of the electricity market in parallel with the technical work.

Consultants in this category work with business development and business-related development of IT and decision support. Assignments within this category aim to support the business in capturing development needs, formulating and driving requirements for IT solutions, and exercising change management during implementation. Business areas with development needs in the coming years are e.g., electricity grid operations, balancing regulation, electricity market, and power system analysis.

Competence Requirements

Requirement 1 University or college education (minimum 120 credits/180 ECTS) in systems science, informatics, or engineering education in electrical or computer engineering, or other equivalent education in the field. Alternatively, at least 9 years of relevant work experience.

Requirement 2 At least 9 years of experience in requirements specification (functional and non-functional requirements), in roles such as requirements manager, requirements analyst, or equivalent.

Requirement 3 Documented work experience in the energy industry.

Requirement 4 At least 5 years of experience in UX, usability, or user-centered design.

Requirement 5 At least 5 years of experience in requirements specification in complex business projects with multiple IT systems and IT elements, including work according to agile methods.

Requirement 6 At least 5 years of experience in creating, documenting, and analyzing workflows and processes during IT changes.

Requirement 7 At least 5 years of experience in business and/or information architecture, including work with integrations, APIs, and service-based architecture.

Requirement 8 At least 5 years of experience working in requirements tools, such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent.

Requirement 9 At least 5 years of experience in information modeling and data modeling in IT environments.

Requirement 10 Documented experience working with regulatory requirements and regulations, such as GDPR or financial regulations.

Value-Added Requirements

Value-Added Requirement 1 At least 5 years of experience in requirements specification within technology and infrastructure.

Value-Added Requirement 2 At least 5 years of experience in development work according to SAFe or other agile methodologies.

Value-Added Requirement 3 At least 5 years of experience in information modeling.

Value-Added Requirement 4 Documented work experience from a government agency or state-owned enterprise.
