Our client within the defense sector is in a strong growth phase and works on long-term, society-critical projects where technology and security are in focus. IT plays a central role in this development, and we are now looking for Platforms Engineers who want to help develop future system support in a business of great significance for society's security and preparedness.

You will become part of a modern and forward-looking team working with the development and management of advanced platform solutions. The work is largely remote, with occasional joint team meetings on-site in Linköping. The focus is on collaboration, continuous delivery, and an agile working method. Your responsibilities

In the role of Platforms Engineer, you will work in a cross-functional team where you jointly are responsible for developing, testing, and deploying platform solutions. You collaborate with several business areas to ensure that technical solutions meet high demands for functionality, security, and regulatory compliance.

You will have the opportunity to be involved from idea to finished solution and contribute to building robust, scalable, and future-proof systems.

• Evaluate and document technical solutions
• Implement and package deliveries
• Work with automation and quality assurance
• Contribute to FinOps and resource optimization

The work takes place in sprints with a focus on delivering value continuously, while ensuring that the solutions meet high demands for security and compliance according to international regulations.

Your profile

• 3–6 years of experience in a relevant area
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure or AWS)
• Knowledge of container technology and Kubernetes
• Relevant education or equivalent work experience

Qualifying competencies

• Containers / Kubernetes
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenStack)
• Networking and load balancing
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• CI/CD and container-based development flows
• Experience with open source solutions

Knowledge in programming languages such as Rust, Golang, Java, or C#/C++ is a plus.

The position is security-classified, which means a security clearance check will be conducted. In some cases, citizenship requirements may apply.
