In 1914, Martin Mårtensson opened a country store which is now a family business that has been in operation for over 100 years! ICA Nära Mårtenssons is passionate about food and fresh products and is looking for a new employee for the fresh food department!

The Role

You will work with fresh products such as meat, charcuterie, cheese, and baked goods. We have a manual delicatessen counter where we offer delicacies of the highest quality. We cut all our meat in-store. We have seen positive growth in all our fresh food departments and are looking for someone who wants to continue on this journey. The role includes picking goods, manual delicatessen work, production, catering, prep, and campaigns. You will constantly work on keeping the department looking neat and fresh. Together with your team, you ensure the department is always sales-oriented.

Your Qualities

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in food and service. You are comfortable working independently and driving the department forward with the customer always in focus. You are driven by numbers, sales, customer management, and development. You are a proactive person with the ability to execute activities that create efficient store operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the industry. Genuine strong interest in food. Familiarity with AOB, Min Butik, or similar systems. You want to develop and drive profitability in your department. Most importantly, you have the desire to develop and learn new things. ICA Nära is a store with many regular customers, so your personal service is extremely important.

Employment Type

Full-time, no weekends currently but may occur. Salary according to agreement. Store opening hours are 08:00-20:00. Start ASAP. Our selection process is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
