Are you an experienced car mechanic looking to work at an authorized workshop for Mercedes and Toyota in Sollefteå?

As a service mechanic at Werksta Sollefteå, you work at an authorized workshop for Mercedes and Toyota. You are responsible for diagnostics, servicing, and repair of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. You will become part of a team that prioritizes quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The work involves troubleshooting, performing service intervals according to manufacturer recommendations, assembling and adjusting components, and documenting work in the workshop system. You collaborate closely with technicians, customer reception, and the site manager to ensure cost-effective and accurate repairs.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting using modern tool and diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs according to authorized guidelines from Mercedes and Toyota.
• Assemble and replace parts, ensuring correct adjustment and function before returning the vehicle to the customer.
• Document completed work in the workshop system and create accurate work orders and time reports.
• Collaborate with customer reception to inform customers about status, cost estimates, and recommendations.
• Participate in quality assurance, report deviations, and suggest improvements to work processes.
• Engage in professional development and stay updated on manufacturer training and service programs.
• Follow the workshop's routines for safety, environment, and orderliness.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with automotive education or equivalent practical experience, as well as experience working in a workshop, preferably with a focus on Mercedes and/or Toyota. You are meticulous, analytical, and thrive in a team environment. Experience with modern diagnostic tools and workshop systems is an advantage. A B-driver's license is required.

• Relevant automotive education or several years of experience as a mechanic.
• Experience with servicing and repairs according to manufacturer instructions; certification or previous work at an authorized Mercedes or Toyota workshop is a plus.
• Good technical understanding and familiarity with diagnostic tools and electronic systems.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and meticulous with strong communication skills.
• B-driver's license is required.
