Job Information

Professionals Nord is relaunching this successful setup in collaboration with Satellite Group. This time with a new and exciting focus! Through our initiative, we are shaping the next generation of HVAC technicians, and you can be one of them. During the introductory period via Satellite Group, you will develop the skills required to quickly become confident and self-assured in the role of an HVAC technician. You will then be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Umia for at least 18 months. The goal is for your employment to transfer to Umia, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Information about the introductory period

The introductory period is based on the Accelerated Learning method, where shorter theoretical parts are combined with practical exercises to give you all the tools you need to succeed in the role. During the period, you will develop in areas such as:

• Materials and components
• Drawings and system understanding
• Assembly and installation
• Construction process, projects, and contracting
• Planning, working environment, and safety
• Digital tools and documentation

We offer the possibility of study support throughout the introductory period.

Job Description

As an HVAC technician at Umia, you become a key player on the construction site and enjoy a varied daily routine characterized by teamwork and camaraderie. You install duct systems, units, and diffusers, interpret drawings, and ensure that all airflow functions as intended.

Together with your colleagues at Umia, within electricity, piping, ventilation, and control/regulation, you work with the Umia model, where all technical areas work closely together on projects. You will plan with your colleagues, solve problems, and share experiences in the project.

You will work on both large and small projects, including Vasaskolan, Bilhandlaren, and the commercial area at Klockarbäcken, within both the private and public sectors.

We are looking for you who

• Are 18 years or older
• Hold a B driver's license
• Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
• Have a technical interest
• Have the motivation and desire to make a career change
• Have passed tests (MAP & Matrigma)

In the role of HVAC technician, you become an important player at the workplace and have dialogue with colleagues, clients, and foremen, which places high demands on communication and collaboration skills.
