ResponsibilitiesWe are now launching the major contracts for the Norrbotniabanan railway line on the stretch between Umeå and Skellefteå. Therefore, we are strengthening our team with experienced project managers who, together with other competent colleagues, will drive the construction of the Norrbotniabanan.
The role of project manager is a key position where you are responsible for the planning and execution of our contracts. You lead and distribute the work within the project and are responsible for the progress of the sub-project towards set goals. You have project engineers, construction managers, controllers, and technical specialists at your disposal. An important part of the job is to monitor time, cost, scope, and quality aspects, while another part is to create a good and productive work environment within your project. The position is dynamic and involves extensive collaboration with external actors, such as municipalities, contractors, and the County Administrative Board. Here you have the opportunity to follow a large project over several years together with a cohesive team and face exciting, complex issues.
As a project manager at the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), there are great opportunities for development. We are looking for you who
- have several years of current and relevant experience in a leading role, such as project manager or equivalent, in infrastructure projects where you have been responsible for planning and monitoring regarding time, cost, and scope.
- have experience working in projects in the production phase.
- have current knowledge and/or experience in contract law in one or more of the areas AB/ABT/ABK and AMA.
- have a university/college degree of at least 180 hp (120 p) with a focus on Road and Water Construction/Civil Engineering, or another education combined with experience that we consider equivalent.
- have very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- have a driver's license for a passenger car.
It is meritorious if you
- have experience in a leading role in large, complex infrastructure projects.
- have experience from working in a client role where you have procured contracts.
- have experience working with environmental issues in projects.
- have experience working with occupational health and safety issues in projects.
- have good skills in English, both spoken and written.
