We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect for a consulting assignment within digitalization and the development of complex information and document flows in the public sector.

The assignment aims to analyze the current state, define the target vision, and develop an actionable solution architecture for a business where processes are currently partially manual and system-fragmented.

The role involves close collaboration with business units and stakeholders, as well as coordinating ongoing digitalization initiatives within a larger system environment.

About the assignment The assignment involves:

• Mapping the current state of processes and information flows
• Identifying information ownership and needs for information classification
• Analyzing business events and data connections
• Evaluating existing system support and proposing future solutions
• Identifying opportunities for digitalizing manual tasks and document flows
• Coordinating and analyzing development initiatives in complex environments
• Proposing integration solutions for increased digitalization
• Developing target vision, gap analysis, and solution proposals
• Proposing an implementation plan and assessing the degree of digitalization
• Identifying potential applications of AI, for example for document and data interpretation

The solution must be developed according to established architecture principles and comply with current requirements within IT, security, and integration.

Assignment Information

• Location: Stockholm (on-site)
• Start: 2026-05-18
• End: 2026-09-30
• Scope: 100% (approx. 320 hours)
• Option: Possibility of extension

Must-Have Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or IT Architect
• Experience in mapping and analyzing business processes
• Experience in documenting architecture and decisions (Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
• Experience with billing and document flows as well as digital standards
• Experience with AI applications in technical solutions is a plus
• Knowledge of common digital services and infrastructure within the public sector is a plus
• Understanding of case management and diary registration
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Nice-to-Have Requirements (Merits)

• Experience with integration design (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, asynchronous flows)
• Experience with complex integration environments involving both legacy and modern systems
• Knowledge of security and identity (OAuth2, OpenID Connect)
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and traceability in distributed systems
• Experience with AI solutions in architecture work and system design
• Experience in integrating AI into business-critical processes

Written Description (Mandatory Part)

The consultant must attach a short written description (max 1 A4 page) describing how the assignment would be approached in an environment with ongoing system changes.

The description should cover:

• Handling of integrations and data flows between new and existing systems
• How integration platforms are used in the target architecture
• Strategy for gradual migration between old and new systems
• Handling of data quality and document flows
• A holistic view of integration architecture as part of a larger transformation
