We are now looking for an Information Security Engineer for an exciting assignment within the development of internal IT systems in a company experiencing strong growth and driving socially important projects. The team works primarily remotely and uses digital tools for collaboration, with some physical presence when needed.

In the role of Information Security Engineer, you will work closely with several teams and business areas to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs, security requirements, and regulatory requirements. You are responsible for analyzing security requirements, interpreting regulations, and providing guidance on information security to the team.

You will work as a requirement setter and analyst in a smaller agile team, contributing to knowledge sharing and ensuring that work is driven forward in sprints with a focus on continuous deliveries. The role also involves security analysis, monitoring of internal audit processes, and handling technical interfaces between different systems and functions.

You will also contribute to development, testing, and operations-related issues together with the team to create long-term sustainable and secure solutions.

Requirements:

• Relevant education in IT, information security, or equivalent work experience

• Experience working within information security

• Knowledge of Governance and process work

• Experience in requirement setting and requirement analysis

• Knowledge of one or more security frameworks/regulations such as the ISO 27000 series, GDPR, SOC2, DORA, NIST 800-171 Rev.2, or NIS2

• Experience with IAM, including role- and policy-based permission systems

• Practical experience with security testing, such as MITM or similar tests

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

• Experience working in agile teams and sprint-based deliveries

• Ability to undergo and be approved according to current security protection regulations

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in system development

• Experience in operational environments

• Experience working in regulated businesses

• Experience working in global organizations

• Location: Linköping, Malmö, or Stockholm

• Remote work: Yes, primarily remote

• Travel/presence: Some on-site presence when needed, as well as joint team days a few times per year

• Assignment type: Consulting assignment
