About the role

As a measurement technician, you are a key player in ensuring the functionality of various radar systems through maintenance, testing, and modification of the system's components. This is carried out through various types of measurements and test schedules in the electronics workshop. In this role, the purpose is clear: to deliver high-quality products to the defense industry.

In the role, you work with both existing components and systems, with a focus on troubleshooting, maintenance, and modifications, as well as testing and measuring new components. The work also includes documentation and reporting of performed tasks, as well as contributing to improvements of existing solutions. Your tasks take place in close collaboration with both colleagues and customers, where dialogue and knowledge exchange are a natural part of the work.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications of components within radar systems.
• Verify the quality of components and test new components prior to delivery to the customer.
• Document and report measurement results and create test protocols after completed work.
• Perform electrical measurements with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers in the electronics lab.

We are looking for someone who has

• Fluent Swedish language skills.
• A driver's license (Category B), to easily commute to work in Arboga.
• At least a high school education in electricity, IT, technology, or automation.
• Basic electrical knowledge, either from education or work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, for example as a service technician, industrial electrician, or similar.

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience with measurement technology.
• Experience with technical documentation.
• Experience as a service technician in electricity/telecom/IT.
• Knowledge of high voltage or electrical safety work.
• Experience working within the defense industry/armed forces.
