Do you want to work with advanced instrumentation technology in one of Sweden's largest engineering offices – and at the heart of Nordic industrial projects?

AFRY Process Industries in Gothenburg continues to grow and is now seeking Instrumentation Engineers who want to work close to the technology in some of the industry's most complex and technology-intensive assignments.

Our office in Gothenburg is one of AFRY's largest in Sweden and serves as a key Nordic hub for deliveries within process industry, energy, oil & gas, and petrochemicals. Here, you will find a strong project operation, high-tech competence, and close collaboration between several engineering disciplines – giving you both breadth and depth in your technical development.

What you will work with

As an Instrumentation Engineer at AFRY in Gothenburg, you will become a key person in our deliveries. You will work closely with other disciplines throughout the entire project cycle and contribute to robust, safe, and future-proof industrial solutions.

Examples of tasks:

• Instrumentation design in feasibility studies, basic design, and detailed design
• Preparation of instrument lists, function descriptions, and technical specifications
• Selection and sizing of instrumentation and valves for demanding process and industrial environments
• Review of vendor documentation and technical solutions
• Cross-disciplinary collaboration with process, electrical, automation, and mechanical/piping design
• Support during installation, testing, and commissioning

The work is carried out from the Gothenburg office and in close collaboration with customers, often in larger multidisciplinary projects, supported by modern tools for design, document management, and planning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are driven by technology, thrive in a project environment, and want to take clear engineering responsibility.

We believe you:

• Have experience with instrumentation work within the process industry, energy, oil & gas, or petrochemicals
• Have worked in project form – independently and/or in larger technical teams
• Have a technical degree from a university, college, or vocational higher education (YH)
• Fluently speak and write Swedish and English
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B) (customer visits and travel occur)
