About the role

As a Piping Designer, you are involved in the entire delivery within process design and construction, from feasibility studies to installation, commissioning, and qualification.

You work primarily in AutoCAD Plant 3D and play a key role in translating process technical solutions into:

• 3D models and layouts
• Manufacturing and installation drawings

Your technical competence and attention to detail are crucial to ensure high quality and deliveries according to current standards and industrial requirements.

You will have the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary projects and assignments within various industries – both on-site at the customer and in internal project deliveries.

Flexible working environment

The workplace is located in Gothenburg with the possibility of hybrid work. The role also involves working on-site at the customer, which creates variety and a dynamic daily routine with new technical challenges.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3 years of experience from the process industry
• A degree in Engineering, University College, or relevant Higher Vocational Education (YH)

Meritorious experience:

• Chemical industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, or food
• Construction and design in 2D and 3D
• AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Requirement specifications and technical coordination with suppliers
• Preparation of installation documents and assembly support
• Basic knowledge of piping standards, material selection, and welding procedures
• Expansion and flow calculations
