Responsibilities

As a Technical Writer at Berg Marin, you will become a key player in our projects. You are the one who turns details, technology, and functions into clear and usable documentation – something that is crucial for our customers' installation, operation, and maintenance.

You will:

• Gather technical information from datasheets, manuals, shipyards, project managers, and technicians.
• Structure and transform complex information into logical and easy-to-understand documentation.
• Create manuals, descriptions, spare parts lists, and training materials.
• Work across multiple projects simultaneously and contribute to both quality and progress.

We are looking for you who are educated as a Technical Writer or Technical Author and who have had time to work in the field for a while. If you have experience from maritime or industrial operations, we see it as a big plus.

We see that you are accustomed to communicating with both technical and non-technical roles. You are a person who likes and has the ability to create structure, and you enjoy diving into technical details to create order and understanding. You drive your work forward and ensure that what you deliver is of high quality.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Travel to our shipyards around Sweden is included in the position, so you need to have a driver's license and the ability to travel approximately 20 days per year.

The position is located in Gothenburg or Karlskrona – you specify in your application which location you are interested in. The planned start is after the summer holidays.

Since FMV is one of our largest customers, the person who becomes relevant for the position will undergo a security clearance.
