We are currently looking for an experienced Elastic Consultant for a new assignment. The client has a comprehensive IT organization responsible for the development, maintenance, and operation of business-critical IT systems. The work is primarily conducted agilely according to the SAFe framework with a clear DevOps focus.

The Elastic Stack is used for various purposes, with a central use case being observability and technical monitoring. Within this area, Elastic APM is used as an important part of the client's monitoring solution.

The assignment is carried out in close collaboration with internal platform and development teams.

Responsibilities

As an Elastic Consultant, you will among other things:

• Configure and set up Elastic APM for critical applications
• Configure Machine Learning and Anomaly Detection jobs in Elastic
• Implement alert management and technical integrations with ITSM systems and other existing event management tools
• Support the platform team with best practices for operation, monitoring, and optimization of the Elastic Stack platform
• Develop and conduct training for various teams within the Elastic Observability area

Competency Requirements

Must-haves

To be considered for the assignment, you must have:

• Good knowledge and experience with Elastic APM
• Good understanding of AIOps as a concept
• Good knowledge of managing Elastic Agent / Beats in Kubernetes environments
• Good knowledge and understanding of event management
• Knowledge of Prometheus and the use of monitoring data
• Good skills in creating dashboards and rules in Grafana

Nice-to-haves

It is meritorious if you also have:

• At least 5 years of experience working with Elastic-based observability
• At least 2 years of experience automating Elastic-based observability flows for microservices and Kubernetes via pipelines
• Certified Elastic Engineer
• Certified Elastic Observability Engineer

Other Requirements

• The assignment requires the consultant to be a Swedish citizen
• A Background Check, Level 2 will be conducted
• Work is performed on-site at least 3 days a week
