Do you want to work for a company where you can make a difference? At Länsförsäkringar Värmland, we are now looking for an Insurance Advisor specializing in agricultural insurance who wants to contribute to a safer Värmland.

We are now looking for an advisor with the key task of maintaining and expanding our agricultural customer base, primarily in southeastern Värmland.
About the role
We are currently strengthening the team working with agricultural insurance in preparation for the upcoming generational shift. You will primarily meet new and existing agricultural customers on-site in southeastern Värmland, based out of our office in Karlstad.
In the role of Agricultural Advisor, you work with needs-based sales to our agricultural customers. You work on identifying and solving customers' insurance needs for both new and existing clients, broadening the customer's existing engagement while ensuring they are properly insured. You work independently and have your own sales budget. Our ambition is to offer the customer holistic solutions within all our areas—banking, pension, and insurance—which is why you work daily with colleagues from other parts of the company.
You apply business principles with a focus on profitability and customer benefit in every customer meeting. You prepare insurance proposals, conduct risk analyses, document interactions, and meet customers primarily on-site, but also via phone or digitally.
In this role, you are responsible for a geographical area in southern Värmland, where you manage our agricultural customers with a main focus on our production and part-time farms. In this role, you will also serve as one of the company's representatives in local networks, trade fairs, and other representations.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have interest, knowledge, and experience within agriculture and green industries. You are an engaged salesperson who is passionate about sales and the development of new working methods. You have experience from proactive sales and are therefore well acquainted with communicating with customers. You have the ability to listen to, understand, and immerse yourself in the customer's needs and situation. Personal qualities that can come in handy include being goal-oriented and motivated by creating good results. You have strong personal drive, take initiative, and gladly accept new challenges. You like to be involved and influence. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
It is important that you are flexible and open to new working methods as you will be a key player in shaping the future working methods within agricultural insurance at Länsförsäkringar Värmland. You combine your own drive with being a team player who sees the big picture and works closely with colleagues in banking and pension to achieve success together.
You have at least a high school education, and post-secondary education is an advantage for this position. If you are educated as an agronomist or farm manager, have experience in agriculture, and hold relevant insurance experience, it is an extra advantage.
